HOW CAN WE MAINSTREAM SOLAR ENERGY?

On December 17, 2008, Ken Zweibel, Director at Institute for Analysis of Solar Energy at George Washington University gave the presentation, How Can We Mainstream Social Energy? at the International Finance Corporation (IFC). The event was organized in conjunction with the Environment and Social Development Department and the General Management and Services (GMS). It was introduced by Shilpa Patel, Manager of the Climate Change unit within the Environment and Social Development Department at the IFC. In this presentation, Zweibel introduced research that demonstrates that with the competitiveness of solar energy, the United States could be self-sufficient in its energy agenda.
