CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY IN THE USA: WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE U.S. ON THE ROAD TO COPENHAGEN?

On April 16, 2009, the World Bank Institute held the dialogue event “Climate Change Policy in the USA: What Can We Expect from the U.S. on the Road to Copenhagen?” The presentation featured keynote speaker Ned Helme, Founder and President of the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP). The objective of the event was to provide a political context of international climate negotiations taking place within the United States. The event was chaired by Sector Manager of the World Bank Institute’s Sustainable Development Department Konrad Von Ritter and Manager of the World Bank’s Environment Department Joelle Chassard.
