ENERGY WEEK 2009: ENERGY SECTOR MANAGEMENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

On March 31-April 2, 2009, the World Bank held Energy Week 2009 in the spirit of gathering field specialists, practitioners and policy-makers to discuss energy and development issues. The conference was organized by the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA), The Energy and Mining Sector Board and the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP). The objective of this event was to enable leading energy experts to provide and exchange solutions and insights towards the current challenges in global energy issues.
