BUSINESS AND THE MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOALS: AN ACTIVE ROLE FOR GLOBALLY RESPONSIBLE COMPANIES

The 10th International Business Forum, entitled “Business and the Millennium Development Goals: An Active Role for Globally Responsible Companies” was held on Sept. 11-13, 2005 at New York University in New York City. The event, hosted by InWEnt (International Capacity Building, Germany), the World Bank Institute, the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and Instituto Ethos, was the first major conference on specific private sector contributions to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
