| In the wake of the Indonesian tsunami and a devastating earthquake in Pakistan, the World Bank has produced a Policy Note covering risk management in the East Asia and Pacific region. Titled “Not If, But When: Adapting to Natural Hazards in the Pacific Islands Region,” the note was presented by the East Asia and Pacific department of the Bank, as well as by the World Bank InfoShop on March 3, 2006, at Bank headquarters in Washington, D.C. |
