DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING E-GOVERNMENT: KEY ISSUES, BEST PRACTICES AND LESSONS LEARNED

Many World Bank client countries are in the process of designing and implementing e-government strategies, programs and projects. There is a growing demand for World Bank assistance in this area both in terms of knowledge and financial support.

The purpose of this training workshop was to empower Bank staff and clients with knowledge, tools and operational recommendations to design and implement comprehensive e-government strategies, programs, projects and increase effectiveness of traditional Bank projects in various sectors through the use of ICT.
