- The Business Pact for Integrity and Against Corruption is a Principle based initiative and was launched by national and international organizations in Brazil in 2006.
- It was initiated by the Ethos Institute for Business and Social Responsibility, Eniethos – Education for Business Responsibility and Sustainable Development, Patri Government Relations and Public Policy, United Nations Development Program – UNDP; United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime – UNODC, and the Brazilian Committee of the Global Compact.
- The initiative was set up to fight illegal practices in business and political live and to disseminate good practices of business ethics.
- It is supported by over 400 member companies.
