The World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) Code of Conduct: WFSGI is the world authoritative body for the sports industry, recognized by the International Olympic Committee as the industry representative within the IOC family. The WFSGI is an independent association formed by the industry suppliers, national organizations, and sporting goods industry-related businesses. The WFSGI’s Committee on Ethics and Fair Trade developed a Model Code of Conduct in 1997, and revised the Code in 2000. While this code of conduct primarily focuses on the issue of ethical labor standards, there is an item relevant to anti-corruption efforts: compliance. The Code of Conduct asked member companies and the companies that produce goods for them to operate in full compliance with national and local laws, rules, and regulations relevant to their business operations.
Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI): The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is the broadest business-driven platform for the improvement of social compliance in all supplier countries and for all consumer goods. It was founded in March 2003 for the purpose of developing the tools and procedures for the European Business Social Compliance Programme. BSCI membership currently comprises more than 130 members, mainly retailers, industry, and importing companies from 10 countries. In the 2006 Code of Conduct, BSCI calls for the supplier companies to define and implement a policy for social accountability through management systems. It urges a management system to ensure that the requirements of the BSCI Code of Conduct can be met as well as establish and follow an anti-bribery / anti-corruption policy in all of their business activities.
American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA): Code of Ethics - Guiding Principles for Members: ASTA, short for the American Society of Travel Agents, is the world’s largest association of travel professionals. Their 20,000-plus members include travel agents and the companies whose products they sell, such as tours, cruises, hotels, car rentals, etc. ASTA’s code of ethics promotes ASTA members to conduct their business activities in a manner which ensures the ideal of integrity in travel. In this code of ethics, there is one item particularly pertinent to the issue of corruption: conflict of interest. The code of ethics urges ASTA members not to allow any preferred relationship with a supplier to interfere with the interest of clients.

The Global Code of Ethics for Tourism: The Global Code of Ethics for Tourism does not have explicit items on the matters pertinent to anti-corruption; however, this is a comprehensive set of principles whose purpose is to guide stakeholders in tourism development. The stakeholders covered in the principle include central and local governments, local communities, the tourism industry and its professionals, as well as visitors, both international and domestic. The Global Code of Ethics for Tourism attempts to help minimize the negative impacts of tourism on the environment and on cultural heritage while maximizing the benefits for residents of tourism destinations.
World Travel & Tourism (WTTC) Council Position Paper - Corporate Social Leadership: The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) is the forum for business leaders in the Travel & Tourism industry. WTTC works to raise awareness of Travel & Tourism as one of the world’s largest industries, employing approximately 231 million people and generating over 10.4 per cent of world GDP. This report encourages leadership in corporate social responsibility with the Travel & Tourism industry. Outlining current industry initiatives to promote sustainability, the report presents the business case for greater social leadership within Travel & Tourism as the way forward. This report also illustrates examples of what WTTC Member Companies are doing in the fields of sustainability and corporate social responsibility and the views of a number of Members themselves. While this report does not focus on the issue of anti-corruption, it covers various sustainability issues.
