The conference Voluntary Codes of Conduct for Multinational Corporations: Promises and Challenges conference was held May 12 - 15, 2004 and jointly sponsored by the International Center for Corporate Accountability, Inc. (ICCA), the Zicklin School of Business (Baruch College, CUNY), the Carol and Lawrence Zicklin Center for Business Ethics Research (The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and the World Bank Institute of the World Bank.
Session 6 on May 13, 2004, on the topic "International Organizations and Their Role in Creatin gstandards of Conduct fur Multinational Corporations" presented here is chaired by Prof. Murray Weidenbaum, Distinguished University Professor, Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri, covers the following topics:

- "United Nations Global Compact" - Georg Kell, Executive Head, UN Global Compact, New York, New York
