- Under
what circumstances do we notice/overlook traditional
structures and their actions for local governance
and/or in local development projects?
- What
are the needs/strengths/opportunities/weaknesses/threats
of traditional structures as you perceive them in
the context of local governance? And what can we
learn from traditional structures (their strengths
and weaknesses) for local governance to improve
development outcomes?
- What
expectations do traditional structures have from
external agents in terms of engagement and disengagement?
If engagement, how can conditions be created so
that local leaders (both traditional/indigenous
and modern/government) work together to enable local
communities to focus on strategic (as well as practical)
needs for improving local governance for better
local development outcomes?
