Mr.
Craig joined the Fund in January
of 2000. Currently he is a Senior
Economist in the Financial Surveillance
Policy Division of the Monetary and
Financial Systems Department. He
also was part of the Capital Markets
and Financial Studies Division in
the Research Department and the International
Capital Markets Department.
Prior
to joining the Fund, Mr. Craig worked
for the Bank for International Settlement,
were he was a Senior Economist in
the Committee on Global Financial
Systems (CGFS) - Secretariat, Gold
and Foreign Exchange Committee
Secretariat, and Macroeconomic Monetary:
G-10 Countries Secretariat.
Previously, Mr. Craig was an Economist
with the Federal Reserve Board, working
on G-7 Macroeconomic Policies Surveillance
and Macro-econometric Modeling.
Mr.
Craig obtained his Ph.D. in Economics
from Boston University and his B.A.
in Economics from Pitzer College.
