Mr. Ferhani joined the International Monetary Fund in 2002 and is currently the Senior Advisor to the Monetary and Financial Systems Department.

Previously, Mr. Ferhani was the Director of Market Operations and Director of Foreign Exchange Directorate at Banque de France.

Mr. Ferhani received his Masters degree in Business Law from the Universite Paris 2 and degree in Economics and Finance from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
