Herman
Mulder is currently Co-head of Group
Risk Management and Co-chairman of
the Group Risk Management Committee
at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. He has also
served as Non-Executive Director
of the Bank of Asia since 1999. Mr.
Mulder is one of the initiators of
the Equator Principles. Since 1998,
Mr. Mulder has also served as Senior
Executive Vice President of the Group
Risk Management Corporate Center.
Mr.
Mulder has worked at ABN AMRO Bank
N.V. since 1979. When he first started
there, he served as Vice President,
Relationship Manager energy clients
(1979-1982); then as Vice President,
Head of Project Finance (1982-1983);
Senior Vice President, Head of Project/Export/Cofinance;
member of official Dutch negotiating
team concerning Cogasco (Argentina)
(1984-1987); Senior Vice President,
Head of Credit Group Corporate Banking
(including: Emerging Markets, Special
Credits & Rescheduling, Credit
Evaluation) (1988-1991); Senior Vice
President, Head of Global Credit
Structuring & Syndication Group
(1991-1994); and prior to his current
position, he served as Executive
Vice President, Head of Global Structured
Finance at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (1994-1998).
Prior
to joining ABN AMRO Bank, Mr. Mulder
worked at Pakhoed Holding/Paktank
(Rotterdam/Philadelphia) as Assistant
Treasurer/Controller, and as Business
Development Manager. Mr. Mulder earned
his Bachelor in Economics from Rotterdam
University, and his Master at Law
from Leiden University.
