Mr. Gandolfo is Director of Quantitative Strategies,
Risk and Analytics (QRA) in the World Bank Group.
This Department is responsible for the development
of quantitative strategies for strategic and
tactical asset allocation, risk measurement
and budgeting, portfolio analytics and financial
modeling for the benefit of the investment,
funding and asset-liability management businesses.
Prior
to assuming responsibilities as Director of
QRA, Mr. Gandolfo was the Director of the Investment
Management Department. He was responsible for
$60 billion of global assets of the World Bank
Group including high grade fixed income portfolios
and the World Banks Staff Retirement Plan.
He began his career in the World Bank Group
in 1985 at the IFC where his responsibilities
included developing and implementing investment
portfolio strategies, structuring and executing
derivative strategies for IFC's clients. Mr.
Gandolfo has 17 years of investment management
experience.
Mr.
Gandolfo holds a BA from the University of Pennsylvania
and an MBA from the George Washington University.
