Eric Rosengren is a Senior Vice President
in charge of the Supervision and Regulation
Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
He serves as Chairman of the Federal Reserve
Bank Supervision and Regulation Subcommittee
on Projects and Special Studies, and a member
of the Federal Reserve Bank Supervision Subcommittee
on Policy Development. Previously, he was Vice
President and Head of the Banking and Monetary
Policy Section of the Research Department. He
has written numerous articles on international
banking, bank supervision, and macroeconomics.
His most recent articles have appeared in the
American Economic Review, Quarterly
Journal of Economics, Journal of Finance,
and Journal of International Economics.
He received a Ph.D. in economics from the University
of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986.
