Steve is a Modeling Specialist focusing on retail lending activities with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Supervision and Regulation area. In addition to Federal Reserve on-site reviews, he has participated with the OCC, FDIC, OTS and various US state and international authorities on retail reviews. He has worked with implementation and policy development issues related to capital since the early stages of the Basel capital accord (developing early regulatory models for examiner use) and currently participates on the US interagency group responsible for determining best practices related to internal ratings-based approaches for retail lending. Steve earned his M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee. He lives in Richmond, Virginia with his wife and five daughters.
