Ms.
Neyens is currently acting as the manager of
the World Banks Banking and Financial
Restructuring Group responsible for policy advice
and technical assistance in the areas of banking
supervision and regulation, financial crisis
and corporate restructuring and asset management.
She previously served as Program Manager for
the World Banks financial sector reform
program in Indonesia. In addition, she has provided
advice on asset management and resolution issues
in Bangladesh, the East Asian crisis countries
and Turkey.
Prior
to joining the Bank, Ms. Neyens was a Senior
Vice President at Bank of America responsible
for asset resolution. She has extensive experience
in operational and financial restructuring of
troubled corporations through voluntary negotiations
as well as bankruptcy proceedings and has both
served on and chaired numerous creditors committees.
In addition, Ms. Neyens has held senior positions
in credit risk management and credit training.
She has also taught Finance and Bank Management
courses at the University of Maryland, and is
the author of several articles on debt resolution
and lending practices.
