Ellen McWilliams
Director of Information Systems, Enterprise Systems & Operations
Fannie Mae

Ellen McWilliams has extensive experience in the area of data and business design for loan delivery, loss mitigation, and securitization. She has been at Fannie Mae for 8 years, during which she has designed many data models, including the data model for cash loan delivery.

For the past year, Ellen has worked with Fannie Mae's International Housing Finance Services department, leading the development of a course on affordable housing and housing for special populations. Some of the topics developed include effective policy, legislation and financing issues that support and sustain effective affordable housing models. Specifically she has focused her attention on the attributes of mortgage products that address unique target populations and credit challenged borrowers. She has presented topics including affordable housing product creation and execution, primary mortgage markets, aspects of technology for mortgage markets, and numerous other topics to international audiences.

Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Ellen worked at Ryland/Norwest as the head of Data Management for a shelf of private-label securities. She has also been employed at Digital Equipment Corporation as a consultant in business process and data design for the Office of Thrift Supervision; and with the FHFB, managing their index of closed loans.

Ellen holds a BS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.
