Douglas Lacey serves as Deputy General Manager of International Operations at African Life Assurance Company Limited in South Africa. Mr. Lacey holds 24 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry. Prior to joining African Life in June 2000, he spent many years at Swiss Re Life and Health where he served as Chief Operating Officer responsible for Life and Health business for Sub Saharan Africa. Mr. Lacey holds a Bachelors in Financial Management, and a Masters Degree in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa. Mr. Lacey is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII).
