Steve
Bauer is currently the National Credit and Risk Manager
for Business Banking within Bank One Corporation. Steve
is currently responsible for all aspects of Commercial
Credit origination through the entire loan life cycle
process. His group manages approximately $14 Billion
in Assets. Business Banking has recently been focused
on technology, empirical credit models, reporting and
automation of credit underwriting and monitoring. Steve
is a 22+ year veteran of banking, with extensive experience
in Commercial Credit. He holds degrees from the University
of Dayton and the Stonier Graduate School. He is frequently
quoted in banking journals and has been an invited speaker
to several financial organizations including the National
Conference for the American Bankers Association.
