As
Senior Financial Sector Specialist in the Eastern Europe
and Central Asia region, Sonja manages programs and
projects, prepares complex financial and banking sector
studies, technical and policy papers. She is also involved
in the design, preparation and supervision of Bank’s
operations, including structural adjustment, investment
and technical assistance operations. Previously, she
has held various other positions at the World Bank in
the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region, as well
as Middle East and North Africa. She has worked at the
Office of the Governor at the National Bank of Yugoslavia,
and has technical expertise in banking risk and financial
risk management, bank appraisal, .banking sector structure
and markets, regulatory framework for the banking system
bank restructuring and bank privatization. |
