Geeta Batra is Senior Private Sector Development Specialist
in FIAS, now part of the Private Sector Advisory Services
Group. Her main areas of work include research and
technical assistance on projects related to private
sector skills upgrading, competitiveness, and assessments
of business environment and investment climate, with
experience in many developing countries. She has a
Ph.D. in economics from Pennsylvania State University
where her research focused on international trade,
development and econometrics.
