Frank Hagermann is Senior Policy Analyst at the ILO's
International Programme on the Elimination of Child
Labour (IPEC) in Geneva and Coordinator of IPEC's
Statistical Information and Monitoring Program on
Child Labour (SIMPOC). Most of his work deals with
the economics of child labor. Prior to joining the
ILO headquarters he headed the enterpreneurship and
employment promotion division of a large development
consulting firm in Germany. His experience also includes
several years as an expert on small enterprise development
and employment policy in regional ILO teams in Delhi
and Bangkok, respectively, and a number of long-term
research and advisory assignments in Indonesia and
Benin.
