Ms. Kikeri is a Lead Private Sector Development Specialist
in the Private Sector Advisory Services Department
of the World Bank. In her past 14 years in various
positions at the Bank, she has worked on privatization
and state enterprise restructuring in countries around
the world. Over the past three years she has focused
more specifically on the labor market aspects of privatization
and enterprise restructuring, providing advisory and
financial support through Bank projects to a number
of countries. Ms. Kikeri co-authored the Bank's first
publication on privatization: "Privatization:
The Lessons of Experience", and she authored
a recent Bank publication: "Privatization and
Labor: What Happens to Workers when Governments Divest?".
