Margerite Monnet

Marguerite Monnet, MA, is a clinical psychologist and a human resources specialist with a focus on gender and reproductive health. She is skilled as a trainer and group facilitator, specializing in participatory methods. She task manages the francophone "Adapting to Change Program", and works on the francophone "New Agendas for Poverty Reduction Strategies: Integrating Gender and Health Program (or Gender, Health, and Poverty), as well as the "Leadership Program on AIDS. Marguerite's work for the past ten years for the World Bank has encompassed various topics, including training of trainers, grassroots management training, strategic planning for NGOs, artisans as enterpreneurs, and girls' education. Prior to this work, Marguerite taught at the University of Dakar in Senegal and had her own consulting firm. She has worked in numerous African countries as well as Guatemala, Haiti, Israel, and Jamaica.
