Eafter completing her Masters of Science in Business
Administration in Madrid and working with a French
telecommunications company (Alcatel), Eva Jimeno Sicilia
worked for the Copenhagen Business School. She then
moved to Brussels to work in development co-operation
with Central and Eastern Europe in the field of higher
education, and business administration studies in
particular. In 1995, she returned to the South, joining
the newly created European Training Foundation in
Italy. For the first 3 years she continued working
in the field of higher education from a wider perspective
as country manager for the Czech and Slovak Republics.
She then joined the Med department (dealing with MENA
countries). Since then, she is working with Middle
East countries in the field of vocational education
and training. She has recently been appointed Deputy
head of the Department while keeping her responsibilities
for Syria.
