Emil
D. Tesliuc, a Romanian national, is Social Protection
Specialist in the SP Anchor, working on social risk
management and vulnerability to poverty. From 1995
to 2000, he was economist in the Bucharest Field Office.
Previously, he worked in academia and for the Romanian
Government. He is/was involved in risk and vulnerability
assessments, and poverty assessments. Other areas
of expertise are rural development, rural credit markets,
and structural adjustment. He holds a Ph.D. in economics
from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest,
and a master in public policy from Princeton University.
