David Warren, a US national, works in the Human Development Department in the LAtin American and Caribbean Region, helping to set up, advise, and support Social Fund programs, which channel funds, training, and other services directly to poor communities, to local governments, and to NGOs that work with the poor and vulnerable, in order to help these groups meet their basic needs and gain voice within their societies. David holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a BA in English and American Literature from Brown University.
