Attacking Poverty Course - ASIA

The Attacking Poverty Course for Asia was organized by the World Bank Institute jointly with the East Asia Region along with our partners from Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Lao, Mongolia and Vietnam. It builds on other activities WBI has recently conducted, namely the Development Debates of last year and the Hanoi Regional Forum on National Poverty Reduction Strategies of December 2001.

The main objective of the course is to support the implementation of poverty-reduction strategies in the region by developing skills to strengthen the poverty focus of sectoral strategies and the understanding of key inter-sectoral issues and tools.
