The
course, designed jointly by APP,
Public
Finance and Decentralization Program, Trade
Program and the
World Bank's Africa Region addressed key fiscal
issues in the poverty-reduction strategies of participating
countries. Emphasis was placed on budgeting, public
expenditure management issues and costing of targets
established in PRSPs.
Poverty and social impact analysis techniques were also
presented.
