Fiscal Issues in PRSP Implementation in Francophone West Africa

The course, designed jointly by APP, Public Finance and Decentralization Program, Trade Program and the World Bank's Africa Region addressed key fiscal issues in the poverty-reduction strategies of participating countries. Emphasis was placed on budgeting, public expenditure management issues and costing of targets established in PRSPs. Poverty and social impact analysis techniques were also presented.
