Susan Hanna is Professor of Marine Economics at Oregon State University. During 1998-99 she is at the H. John Heinz III Center for Science, Economics and the Environment, Washington, DC, directing the Managing Marine Fisheries Program. Her research on fishery management includes the economic aspects of participatory management structures and the evolution of common property regimes.
Professor Hanna is a member of the Executive Council of the International Association for the Study of Common Property, Vice President of the International Society for Ecological Economics, and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Fishery Management and Coastal Community Development, North Sea Centre.
