Overview & Instructor Notes

This module is designed to provide participants with information regarding the range of issues that will have to be dealt with at a very high government level if ICTs are to be adopted across government.

It is very likely that, in order to implement a high quality ICT in education strategic plan, the support of all government departments will be needed. The infrastructure required for a national ICT in education strategic plan would also support a government-wide initiative. There are very few education sectors that can afford to implement ICTs nation-wide on its own.

This module could easily form the basis of a second workshop focusing on "E-Government".

There are no activities for this module at this time. The PowerPoint presentation is meant to inform and raise the larger governmental issues that will have to addressed as ICT is implemented across government.
