Activities will start with a welcome reception and networking dinner on Monday, June 8 at the World Bank and will end the afternoon of Wednesday, June 11 with an optional half-day workshop.

Approach

This program aims to assist private sector executives and public sector leaders, who face corruption issues by using methods of collective action.

The program will be be practical and hands-on utilizing different formats including:

  • Lectures with top faculty and practitioners to frame the issues to be discussed.
  • Case studies based on real-life collective action initiatives.
  • Interactive exercises to spot problems that decision makers may face in high risk operations, and to throw light on the issues that can be addressed through collective action.
  • Networking session where participants get to meet and know each other.

Participants will get access to an anti-corruption peer network and the support of leading anti-corruption organizations.

There are Pre-Program Activities for practitioners, students, and young professionals. Through a competition they can win awards that cover participation and travel expenses, and give winners the opportunity to present their competition submission during the program. See the Program link at www.fightingcorruption.org for details on a collective action best practice submission contest for practitioners and an essay competition for students.
