Grant Purpose:
The purpose of the grant was to support the Community Based Mental Health Services in Middle Bosnia Canton (Travnik Canton) by financing an initiative to facilitate the development of a culturally appropriate mental health program within the primary healthcare system within the Travnik Canton.
More specifically, the goals of the project were to support:
(1) A mental health needs assessment (2) recruitment and training of primary care providers in the provision and management of community-based mental health care; (3) Revision of the training curriculum; (4) Coalition building and networking.

Grant Activities:
The grant financed the the day-to-day work of the Community Based Mental Health Service in the Travnik Canton: office equipment, telecommunications, rent, supplies, and other related office expenses, vehicle and maintenance, trianing, and consultant services.
