This session will examine the broad agenda of issues related to CCT programs in low income countries. The underlying issue is whether/where/how can CCT programs be adapted to work in low income countries:

  • What are the (mix of) goals of CCT programs?
  • How do the programs function?
  • What are the accomplishments of the programs to date?
  • What operational issues have been/can be handled well and where do challenges remain?
  • How are CCT programs articulated into the broader social strategy? Reforms in other parts of the SP system?
