Description

The e-learning program on Health Topics covers e-learning offerings on Health Outcomes and the Poor, Strenghtening the Essential Public Health Functions, Basics of Health Economics. All courses are held online and are intended for Health professionals who need to strengthen their knowledge about health and health economics topics. The course fee is $500.

Objective

The objectives for this program are 1. to raise awareness on the intersection of poverty and health 2. to increase the capacity of health professionals working to strengthen the health component of PRSP documents 3. to strengthen the capacity of health professionals on the 12 essential public health functions 4. to increase the capacity of non health economists to understand health economics concepts and topics.
