This program is organized in line with the WBI's new strategic priorities and the whole sale approach to capacity building. The program has already established several hubs (the central hub is already established in University of Hasanuddin - UNHAS in Makarsar, Eastern Indonesia) in a network of Universities which are already conducting programs to enhance local/regional capacity in critical areas of public service. The proposed ToT training programs at Warmadewa University on November 21-30, and at Paramadina University on December 14-16, 2009 on "Introduction to Citizens Report Card (CRC) Methodology and its Application to Assess the Quality of Local Service Deliver". WBI has already conducted one ToT for the faculty of Warmadewa University in May 2009 and the proposed ToT in November is the second (last) training where the trained faculty will conduct the program in collaboration with WBI to a selected number representatives from key NGOs and other academic institutions who work on issues related to enhancement of service delivery and accountability. The 3 day long ToT in Paramadina on the same topic for the faculty will focus on building a core team of faculty who could continue to provide training to NGOs and other public/private organizations on CRC methodology and conduct research/CRC assessments on their own. In addition, Paramadina University has agreed to incorporate a training module on CRC methodology in their core undergraduate curriculum in order to guarantee the sustainability and scaling up of the capacity building program on CRC Methodology.
